Publicist Jonathan Hartley set up kns news along with fellow director Mark Houldey in 2002. The business had previously been run as Kett’s News Service and primarily covered East Anglia for the national newspapers.
The business grew to become a press agency covering stories right across the United Kingdom.

Jonathan found himself increasingly being asked by people who were in the news to help them secure the best possible fee for their exclusive stories and act as their publicist.
It therefore became a natural progression for Jonathan to set up a subsidiary of kns news solely concentrating on his skills as a publicity agent. Today, Jonathan Hartley Associates deals with stories for companies and individuals that appear in the national media on a daily basis.
