PREVENTING THE PUBLICATION OF AN UNFAIR NEWSPAPER ARTICLE.

A businessman contacted JHA after a publication threatened to publish a story falsely claiming he had been involved in poor business practices.

The company owner in question had in fact become the victim of a sustained smear campaign fuelled by an industry rival.

A national newspaper was planning to run an article based upon a previously inaccurate story in which the businessman was falsely accused of exploiting a customer.

JHA was able to gather the evidence of how the previously reporting was unfair and inaccurate and present it to the newspaper reporter.

We were also able to brief the reporter on the background to the story which had led to the attempt to unfairly demean the client's reputation.

The article was pulled by the newspaper as a result of our work.
